How To Use

Atmosphere — independent level sliders: Hero Fanfare (brass pad, timpani stabs and rising horn calls that follow the chord progression), Cantina Horn (reedy, swung lead line), Hangar Rumble (engine hum and electrical buzz), Droid Chatter (astromech beeps and blips), and Engine Pulse (a sub-bass pulse that follows the pad's chord root — tune it with Key and Chord Motion below). Each is its own volume, not a crossfade — raise as many at once as you like. One-Shot Level is a master volume for the buttons below. Horn x2 doubles how often horn phrases play, timing only — pitch is untouched. Drift slowly and randomly nudges the sliders on its own so the mix keeps quietly evolving; toggle it off to freeze wherever it lands. Randomise jumps straight to a new set of values.

One-Shots — Blaster Volley, Energy Blade, Hyperspace Jump, Alert Klaxon and Comm Burst are one-off sound gestures you can fire anytime, each with its own level fader above its button.

Signal Parameters — Density and Pace shape how busy and how fast the generative layers are. Grit adds waveshaper distortion, Depth controls reverb send, Width spreads the ambient bed across the stereo field, and Level is the master output volume. Key sets the tonal centre and Chord Motion controls how the pad's chord progression moves: Wander (random), Static (stays put), Climb or Fall (steps up or down the scale), or March — drops into a driving, minor-key march with snare and timpani hits instead of the major-key fanfare.

Transport — Fade In and Fade Out ramp the whole mix in or out over five seconds. Play/Stop starts or halts everything instantly. Record captures the live mix; when you stop, you'll be asked to name the file before it downloads as a .wav.

Spectrum & meters — the bar display shows the live frequency content of the mix, and the two thin bars beside it are L/R peak meters so you can see how hard you're driving the output.

Headphones or decent speakers recommended — this is a fully generative instrument, so no two passes ever sound quite the same.
